- Escape of Silphy en Diabel
Silphy en Diabel escaped State custody on YC128.05.19 while being transported to her trial on New Caldari Prime. Her armored convoy was ambushed; State Peacekeepers eliminated the attackers, but she slipped away in the confusion. Two Intaki Syndicate members due to testify against her were assassinated during the escape.
synthesis
The Syndicate-Conquest arc's pivot from prosecution to manhunt. Silphy en Diabel — unofficial leader of the Intaki Syndicate — was to stand trial on YC128.05.19 for her alleged role in the Jita Gate incident. En route, her armored convoy was ambushed; early State investigation holds that Intaki Syndicate agents infiltrated the convoy and hacked the transport holding her while guards repelled the attack. The two Syndicate witnesses who would have given key evidence were killed — attribution (Silphy's people versus the ambushers) left unresolved. The State Peacekeepers commander branded the ambush a 'cowardly act of terrorism.' With Silphy at large, the State recast its Syndicate-region mandate around three goals: building new infrastructure, dismantling the now-criminalised Syndicate, and recapturing her.
- Exordium Opens
The gate to Exordium opened on YC128.05.19, marking the station's transition from construction to live operation. Fireworks marked the celebration. A first capsuleer death was registered at the station shortly after opening, prompting CONCORD to pledge tightened protocols.

Exordium goes operational. AIR Laboratories' completion of Exordium — the new capsuleer hub authorised by the Exordium Charter (a Yulai Accord amendment) — culminated in the gate opening to general traffic on YC128.05.19, alongside the relocation of capsuleer training to the station. A capsuleer death registered at Exordium within the first day; it was not a gank, and CONCORD responded with a pledge to tighten station protocols. Exordium's launch and the Silphy en Diabel escape headline the same YC128.05.19 New Eden News cycle.
